I graduated from Central Washington University in 1988 with an accounting degree. I worked as an accountant for another company before joining Christensen King PC in 1989. I became a CPA in 1992, a partner in the CPA firm in 1998, a registered investment advisor representative in 2000, when we first opened our investment firm, Christensen King & Associates Investment Services, Inc., and earned the PFS (Professional Financial Specialist) designation in 2008. I am a member of the AICPA and the WSCPA, and past president of the local American Society of Women Accountants chapter.
The benefit of the size of our company is that we are exposed to all types of tax and accounting work. I prepare individual, business, non-profit, and trust/estate tax returns, consult with clients for business issues and IRS issues, have worked with all stages of clients' daily accounting and bookkeeping needs, and prepare compiled, reviewed, and audited financial statements. Since 2000, I have also been able to assist clients with their investment needs.
I was born and raised in the Tri-Cities, graduated from Pasco High School, and am currently living in Pasco. I am a volunteer Board member for St. Patrick's Church, Pasco Education Foundation, and Kadlec Foundation. In my free time, you can find me at my favorite stress reliever, Zumba.
